Joanna develops and delivers training around issues of safeguarding children and child protection, working closely with her Local Safeguarding Children Board developing and delivering child protection training and training around attending child protection conferences and core groups.
This is unique training, vital to medical professionals today.
Through her Local Safeguarding Children Board Joanna delivers multi-agency, as well as single agency training. Together they have recently developed a child protection training course to meet the needs of board / lead members with safeguarding responsibilities.
Joanna also develops and delivers training in the private and voluntary sector and is able to deliver courses around the specific categories of abuse, as well as current legislation and procedures.
Recent courses she has developed include “Learning Lessons from Serious Case Reviews “ and “Child Protection Processes, Chapter 5, Working Together to Safeguard Children, 2010.”
